WELCOME STATEMENT

Hi, I'm Dick Perez. Welcome to my web site. You're here because you're
a sports fan, a collector or a Perez-Steele enthusiast. I hope it
also means that you have an appreciation for art and what I do as
an artist.
Most of the images you'll find on this site deal with baseball. In
fact, it is my intention to show for your enjoyment every published
Perez-Steele Galleries card, since 1980, and every Donruss Diamond
King that I have painted over 14 years. Initially, you will find a
part of that body of work. The rest will be uploaded over the next
few months. That means every Baseball Hall of Famer and many baseball
stars of recent times in full color portrait or action poses! To accompany
these images I hope to include, over time, biographical sketches,
lifetime statistics and my thoughts on some of the players.
There are many original pieces unpublished or unseen before. You will
also see many pieces of Donruss Diamond Kings original art, some of
which are still available for purchase. Not all images of available
art are on site at this time. If you are interested in purchasing
artwork, e-mail me with your request and I will provide, via e-mail,
a visual of the art you are interested in. There are various past
limited edition prints also available, although their number is small.
For information and to order any of these prints, please call "Legends
Sports Gallery" at 888-681-4442. You may find images of some
of these prints throughout this site. In the future, I intend to publish
a new collection of limited edition prints using the new giclee method
of reproduction.
If you are interested in other sports, you'll find images of those
as well. So, click around and have fun, there's lots of stuff to see.
Thanks for stopping by.
For art galleries wishing to view my work I have provided a small
section of samples for you (A Brief Portfolio).
It is a short list from the great number of pieces that appear on
this web site. It is intended to represent, in a concise way, the
range of my work.
